IMG_7792Yikes! Trikes! This is my second successful one using a mini Cyclone motor, but they take a LOT of custom time and effort (because it’s a Cyclone AND a trike). Two wheels are far simpler, but this Taga 2.0 trike ended up performing fairly well.

IMG_7787The BBS02 and BBSHD WILL work on American “Ashtabula” type bottom brackets often found on less expensive choppers and cruisers. It’s just takes an adapter and some minor custom work. This is an adapter from SJS Cycles in the U.K.

IMG_7784Jumbo Shark pack on a rear rack. Not ideal pack placement, but it’ll do if nothing else works. And it’s a mid-drive motor, so it’s not the absolute WORST combination in existence (that would be a rear hub/rear battery setup).

img_5112Here, the first of a pair of “his & her’s” Day 6 semi-recumbent bikes. The 13.5ah shark pack just barely fit in this position, but is still able to be slid off it’s cradle if need be. 48v BBS02 provides ample power for pavement cruising and assistance up hills…

The cushy, adjustable seat with backrest is a bit of impressive engineering!
